GFAN AP engaged in a number of advocacy engagements during the months of April and May 2019 including the World Malaria Day Celebration and the Launch of CS4ME in Paris, France; engagements at the C20 Summit in Tokyo, Japan and the Korean Civil Society Policy Forum for G20 in Seoul, South Korea; participated in mission visits led by GFAN Africa and the Interactive Multi-stakeholder Hearing for HLM on UHC, New York, USA; and brought the #lovemoregivemore campaign to the 41st Board Meeting of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund), Geneva, Switzerland with the Communities Delegation to the Board of the Global Fund.

GFAN AP Steering Committee members including Chair – Dr. Khuat Thi Hai Oanh (Executive Director of SCDI Vietnam), Ms RD Marte (Executive Director of APCASO), Mr Masaki Inaba (Programme Director for Global Health, Africa Japan Forum); as well as Ms Daxa Patel and Dr Shampa Nag (members of the India Working Group for Health Advocacy), Ms Rachel Ong (Regional Coordinator of GFAN AP) and Mr Niluka Perera (Communications and Coordination officer of GFAN AP) took part in these events.
