India Working Group for Health Advocacy (IWG) met with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden on the 26th of February 2020 to initiate discussions on collaborations for health advocacy in India and to introduce IWG priorities and activities for 2020. Abheena Aher (India HIV / AIDS Alliance), Archana (Global Coalition of Tuberculosis Activists) and Firoz Khan (Ncpi Plus) attended the meeting representing the IWG with Yasmin Zaveri Roy, Senior Advisor, Trade and Economic Affairs at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in India. IWG also extended the gratitude of the India Communities and Civil Society to the Kingdom of Sweden for its pledge to the Sixth Replenishment of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Together with GFAN AP and supported by the NVF sug-grants, IWG focuses on increased domestic resources mobilization for HIV, TB and Malaria responses and UHC implementation in India.
