Count Her In to Accelerate the Fight Against HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria

The theme for 2024 International Women’s Day is ‘Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress’ and on International Women’s Day, GFAN AP,  International Community of Women Living with HIV in Asia-Pacific (ICW AP) and Women4GlobalFund (WFGF) celebrate the strength, meaningful contributions and resilience of women in all of their diversity worldwide in the fight against HIV, tuberculosis (TB) and malaria. Women play a significant role in society and communities, as caregivers, advocates, Community Health Workers (CHWs) and healthcare professionals, among others, demonstrating unparalleled dedication and significant technical contribution in combating these global health challenges. From pioneering research and science to implementing community-based initiatives, women play a vital role in breaking down barriers and promoting health education; advocating for a more equitable world.
