The Action was led and coordinated by Levain des Femmes (LDF) with the support of GFAN Africa and Civil Society for Malaria Elimination (CS4ME).

An action was organised in the capital of Kinshasa, as well as in Lubumbashi.

Action held in Bukavu

On the 14th February 2019, Communities and Civil Society representatives handed letters to the Provincial Minister of Health of South Kivu, the Provincial Assembly of South Kivu, and the Governor of South Kivu.

In addition, a meeting was held to hand over the letter and rose for the appreciation of the support of the French Government at the Consulate of the French Republic in Bukavu with Mr Chislain de Candolle, Consul.

On the 14th February 2019, Communities and Civil Society representatives visited the French Embassy in Kinsasha and met with the Ambassador to demonstrate their appreciation to the Government of France, and to call on early and increased pledges to the Global Fund.
