Brazil was a recipient country of the Global Fund between 2008 and 2012, and has been disbursed over US$ 38.5 million for TB and malaria programmes.
Although Brazil transitioned from Global Fund support based on its Eligibility policy, Brazil remains a recipient of multi country grants Multicountry Americas COPRECOS and Multicountry HIV Latin America ALEP.
Brazil was a donor to the Global Fund in 2001 – 2005 (US$ 100,000) and 2006 – 2007 (US$ 102,355) with a total contribution of US$ 202,355.
