Extended: Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) to join the GFAN AP Steering Committee
GFAN AP is seeking five new Steering Committee (SC) members to drive GFAN AP forward and ensure appropriate expertise and representation from civil society and communities most impacted. The new SC will comprise of total of seven voting members. The GFAN AP SC works to support the GFAN AP Secretariat (Secretariat) in fulfilling its mission and strategies as volunteer experts providing advice, support and oversight. It does this in a collaborative way working with the Secretariat and the fiscal host.
SC members will serve an initial term of two years, with renewal for a maximum of two additional terms, the maximum term of office being 6 years. SC Members will be individuals who have participated actively in GFAN AP activities and/or campaigns in the last three years and who are representing a community-led, key population-led organisation or network and/or other civil society organisation in the Asia-Pacific region that actively engages on Global Fund advocacy and/or implementation and that shares the vision, mission and values of GFAN AP.
The deadline for submitting the application is Wednesday 27 March 2024 at 23:59hr. The application should be submitted to admin@gfanasiapacific.org and cc-ed to hello@ruthmorganthomas.com and include all of the following:
- A letter from the organisation of the nominated applicant; a letter of interest demonstrating how the applicant is fit for the position;
- A personal statement of interest showing how the applicant meets the criteria and diverse composition for SC members (as laid out in the matrix) as well as their experience in relation to the roles and responsibilities set out in the ToR. Applicants should also detail how their engagement will support achieving the objectives within the GFAN AP ToC; and
- Curriculum Vitae of the applicant.
